Pours dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, raisin, dates, plums, alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity, caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 1/XII/18 - on tap @ Billie’s Beer Festival Day 2 (Antwerp), BB: n/a - (2018-1931) Thanks to the RateBeer crew for sharing today’s beers! Clear amber beer, creamy beige to off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: sweet, oxidized, lots of caramel, dried fruits, some ripe banana, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: super sweet, honey, caramel, very oxidized, alcohol burn, ripe to overripe banana. Aftertaste: more sugary, lots of oxidation. This beer obviously has had it’s best time…

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2018 Sampled at Billie's 2018. Light brown colour Aroma and favour have caramelised pears, syrup. Floral, fruity and sticky.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2018 Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 2. 2013 Vintage. Amber orange. Nose is very sweet, oxidized sugar, caramel, boosty. Thick sugary, BE, caramel, oxidation, caramel, very sweet sugary, caramel, caramel, thick sugary syrup with some oxidation, orange, decent, strong.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2018, Day 2. A slightly hazy orange golden beer. Aroma of strong dark malt, liquorice, vanilla, grapes. Taste of sweet strong malt, riped red fruits, caramel, grapes, vanilla, boozy.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2018 Fra fad. Rødbrun uden skum. Kompleks og vinøs aroma, malt, rødvin, karamel, fadpræg, lidt alkohol. Ingen karbonering. Føles let og sød i munden. Fik en taster inden, jeg smagte den helt, og der gjorde den sig fremragende. Men et halv glas var for meget. Jeg vil dog aldrig have gættet på, at det var en øl med over 18% alkohol!

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2018 On tap @Mikkellerbar Aarhus Pours orange, with small head. Scent: Bourbon, red wine, sweet-ish. Taste: Sweet, little liquor, little berries. Does not taste like 18,3%. Texture: Oily-ish.

On tap. 2015 vintage. Pours amber with moderate head. (Wow for the abv...) Aromas of cottony sweet fruit, apples, and sugar. Flavors of sweet muddled fruit, fruit liquor and sweet syrupy wine. Beer? I don’t know. Desert liquor - definitely.
