UPDATED: FEB 3, 2023 Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, roast and some strong alcohol sweetness. Flavour is sweet alcohol, roast, some liquorice, mild hops as well as some dried fruits. Not that far from Mikkeller Black. A bit too boozy for it's own good.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2022 Geproefd op 11 januari 2022 van 37,5 cl fles (dank aan Marnicq) met bestuur WBF. Zwart bier met goede beigebruine kraag. Aroma: gebrand / geroosterd, moutig, wat koffie, tikje rode vruchten, chocolade, alcoholbom, vanille. Volle body. Smaak: zoals aroma en ook wat bitterheid. Zwaar maar heerlijk.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2020 Pours with a deep,opaque black color and a nice tan head. Yes, bitter raspberrys, tart, roasted malts and burnt caramel. Good work.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2018 Piwo w którym dzieje się naprawdę dużo. Na języku kwaskowe przechodzące w owocową słodycz z ostrym goryczkowym finałem po przełknięciu. Wrażenie 3 piw w jednym....

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 949519 Botella 75 cl de cervezalandia tomada en Oviedo 31..12..2017. Color negro intenso brillante con bastante espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores maltosos intensos y grandes dosis de arándanos que aportan una acidez y sabores afrutados del bosque enormes y perfectamente integrados con el resto. Al calentar salen ligeros cacaos, vainillas y alguna maderas empapadas pero en general todo ello bastante camuflado por los intensos sabores maltosos algo tostados y los acidos frescos de los frutos del bosque, además de una sensación alcohólica tremendamente notable, ya desde el principio y que se va acentuando, como el resto de sabores, a medida que calienta, que lo inunda todo. Cuerpo intenso con ....vol que se presentan ya en el primer trago y te acompañan martilleando el cerebro el resto del vaso... Pastoso fino denso y con un amargo seco algo resinoso y herbaceo al final que dura un buen rato en boca. En fin que se puede explicar mucho....pero se resume todo en:  pedazo cervezon, experimento, mezcla de estilos etc...en fin... Para repetir sin duda. Maravillosa de principio a fin, caliente y fria.

Pitch black body with a long-lived brown head. Strong aroma of sour raspberries, barnyard, dark roasted malt and alcohol. Intense flavour that follows the aroma, with additional chocolate. Quite heavy sweet taste, moderate acidic and moderate bitter. The malty sweetness crashes a bit with the sour and fermented raspberries, and the violent alcohol is just in the way.

Oily black color, minimal brown head. Aroma of blueberry, lots of blueberries, pomegranate. Pretty sour, then tons of berries and then after 5-6 seconds it turns to cocoa and raspberry. Full body, soft carbonation. Fascinating thing, alcohol is not noticeable even with 16,5%. Just wow.

Small light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange sweet, dark sugar, sweaty cheese, dark malts, alcohol, caramel, shed, red berries, grass, coffee. Taste is slightly sour-ish strange sweet, sugar, red berries, grass, coffee, dark malts, shed, oak, burnt caramel, ashtray sweaty cheese. Medium to longlasting bitterness, very dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Piana obfita,średnie i duże oczka, powoli opada, zdobi szkło. Kolor czarny. Aromat potężnie owocowy, złożony, są świeże maliny, porzeczki, czarne porzeczki, czekolada. jest słodko, kwaskowo, aromat zapowiada mega trunek. Smak o kurcze jest dziwnie ale dobrze jak nie rewelacyjnie. Słodycz likierowa i tak samo wysoka owocowa kwaskowatość, świeży sok owocowy, maliny, czarne porzeczki, wiśnie i mega wysoka gorzka czekolada z popiołową palonością, popielniczką, są taniny i drewno, nie mam pojęcia czy było piwo leżakowane w drewnie ale to czuć. Goryczka wysoka, pozostaje na długo. Smaki intensywne,złożone, grają ze sobą, alkohol przy ponad 16 procentach nie wyczuwalny wcale, jedynie w szumie w głowie po kilku łyczkach. Aus der Flasche 2016-03 getrunken. Ok wer das 黑 Black von Mikkeller kennt dem müßte klar sein das man sich gerade eine doppelläufige Schrotflinte in den Mund schiebt. BUMM! macht dieses Imperial Rhasberry Stout dann nur noch und tausend typisch bittere Himbeerkerne prallen vom Gaumen auf die Zunge. Was für eine Kombination von leicht saurer Frucht und Röstnoten. Die allgemeine Süße hat zwar die bitteren Röstnoten voll unterkontrolle, aber nur um von der Bitterkeit der Himbeerkerne naherzu komplett eliminiert zu werden. Dies macht dieses Bier zu einem nicht leicht trinkbaren. Dagegen ist der Alkoholgehalt von 16,5% sehr gut eingebunden. Ein Bier der Extreme - aber auch Extrem GEIL!
