DATE TASTED: May 24, 2015... GLASSWARE: Paulaner polar... OCCASION: Cavs/Hawks game three after a good visit at Bob’s... APPEARANCE: The second night of Hop Tickets offers a similar, though not as over the top as the IPA, but the head is as soapy, rocky and effervescent as ever; head itself is a four-finger tower; its body is a mostly translucent, slightly hazy yellow; lacing is puffy cotton balls... AROMA: slightly metallic ping of Saaz and Hallertau for floral allure....PALATE: thin, lightly oily and unassuming--refreshing, but not as bright as promised; dry, but resonates on the sides of the tongue...TASTE: a sweet, citric, slightly peppery mixture that creates a textured though soft experience; slight banana and pear; some doughy biscuit suggests the malt late ... OVERALL: mellow and fruity in places, but not a pilsner that ranks highly in my regards with others; a bit of lemon late gives some profile to a Victory beer that is not quite up to the Victory name; still, a beer whose alcohol is balanced with its flavor and drink ability...

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured golden, clear with a small white head. Aroma of citrus fruit, grain and malts. Taste consistent, malty, sweet, nicely balanced with hops. Crisp refreshing, very enjoyable, very drinkable.

Yellow colored beer. It has a decent, but light hop profile. A bit of fruit. Not something memorable, but it is okay.

From tap. Pours clear golden orange with a small white head. Grapefruity and peachy aroma. Smooth fruity hoppy flavoured. Lingering fruity finish.

12 ounce bottle from Riverside market tastes a bit flat and watered down. Not much hop aroma. Straw yellow color. Very unremarkable.

Draught at Taphouse. Clear golden colored with a small white head. Malty aroma of hay and hops with notes of caramel. Malty flavor of hay and hops with notes of citrus. Hoppy finish.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught at Ølbaren. Clear amber - white head. Toasted. Ok hoppy. Citrus. Fresh. Ok bitterness. Light cardboard. Oxidation. light malty. Simple.

With Z, pours a clear light golden color with no head. Nose is rather flat. First of all, not a lager lover, so typically too grainy and metallic and lacking FLAVOR, however it is a pilsner. Maybe a thirst quencher at best, if you are into lagers and pilseners... would be very satisfying. Quaff Score 5/ 10
