UPDATED: APR 25, 2024 Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of unfermented wheat and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of wheat, and light notes of caramel, cloves, and unfermented wort, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2024 Aroma: cloves and malty. Appearance: goldish color and thin white head. Taste: malty, cloves, rather plain. Palate: low body and medium carbonation. Overall: rather disappointing.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2023 'Benediktiner Weissbier alkoholfrei', Flasche von Edeka, Berlin. - Helles Goldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase klebrige Süße, Traubenzucker, Hefe und leiser Muff, der kaum als Ersatz für Hopfung durchgehen kann. - Antrunk wäßrig und arg süß mit nur blasser Weizenmalzigkeit und schemenhafter Banane und Zitrone, eingebettet in Zuckerwasser. Milder rezent, weich. Im Abgang vage skizzierte herbale Herbe. - Trotz der schlimm klingenden Beschreibung noch trinkbar - wenn man Durst hat und es mal kein Alkohol sein soll. (18.9.2023.)

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2023 Pours hazy golden yellow with off-white foam head. Aroma is sweet fruit, so is taste. Plus malty and banana flavor. Not my best, weissbier + non-alcohol. (Velp 2308).

Light body, sweet, sticky wort and nothing else whatsoever. Alkoholfrei Weisbeer is one of the poorest beer styles in the world of beer. 020823
