English: Hopefully we don’t insult anybody by claiming that Oklahoma was quite a beer wasteland until just recently. Then, along came the brothers Healey, Colin and Chase, with guts, stamina and an awful lot of talent. And well, the rest is history… Prairie - originally a gypsy operation - soon became one of the most buzzed about craft breweries, not only in Oklahoma, not only in the US, but in the world. So when these dudes were invited to the Copenhagen Beer Celebration it was only natural for us to invite them to Amager also. And naturally the style chosen for our collaboration had to be a Farmhouse Saison, a style that Prairie has very much excelled at brewing. One of the Amager crew is still terribly ashamed of sleeping through a tornado warning at a motel room somewhere in Oklahoma years ago, so out of respect for the powers from above we named the beer "Tulsa Twister". As loud and frightening as a twister is, as cool and laid back are the dudes from Prairie. We had a great day of brewing and friendship - we hope it shows in the beer.

ccex (2331) - Lansing, Illinois, USA - DEC 15, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2022 50cl bottle pours a cloudy golden with huge and persistent white head. Aroma has rye bread, orange peel, funky barnyard yeast, and light spices. Taste is bitter, with the sour flavors dominant. Body is medium with lively carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden, but this was still too much of an assault on my tastebuds, even for an old bottle marked down to $1.49.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2021 Bottle from Big C Liquor in Orlando, FL. Aroma is herbal bread, malts, golden raisins, spiced breads. Taste is bready, floral honey, sorghum syrup, spiced breads, some herb, maybe some citrus peels...bitter finish. A very unique beer but considering the team up I expected something better. Also Reminded me less of a Farmhouse Saison and more of an English Bitter. Overall would still recommend trying it.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 June 21, 2017 - balcony tasting with blankboy and gregclow - 500ml bottle. Hazy gold with a large and lasting fluffy white head. Wildflower, cream and alcohol in that aroma - pear sweetness and fresh clover/grassy bitterness - that's really nice! Taste is MUCH maltier - sweet and a bit lemony and spicy - unexpected. Thick and acidic mouthfeel - airy, medium acidic finish - not sure it knows what it wants to be, but it was fun to drink.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2019 Bottle from Hoppiness, Koper, I think. Really nice aroma of tangerine, spices and lemon. Cloudy orange color with medium sized white head. Taste is as well full of fruity notes with nice bitter finish. Medium body, lively carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2019 A nice light golden beer, dense white head. A spicy and refreshing saison with a dry character and light funk to the yeast. A bit citrusy and refreshing, nice especially for the fairly high ABV.

500ml bottle @ home. Pours a murky golden colour with a small white head. Nose is an odd mix of boozy cardboard honey. Flavour is an unsweetened bitterness with a hint of funk. Light bodied, decent carbonation, and a low sweetness that is quite dry and dominantly bitter.

Tasting at Brian's; batch 1508; best before 01/2019
Cloudy, dull blond colour; small fizzy head. Nice aroma, sweet malt and mild funk. Good body strength, there is indeed some residual sweetness; spicy yeast character with mild stone fruit.
I'm no longer used to beers this yeasty, but it's a bold one.

9 Dec 2017. From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Light funky notes, with more prominent notes of fruity esters like those in a belgian pale ale.High carbonation that difficults its drinking
