Draft to pint (from notes). Looks solid; amber with off-white head. Smells and tastes alright; slightly sweet and malty with notes of caramel and a somewhat bitter hop profile. Average on the palate. A decent Amber.

574deadzone (1420) - North Central, Indiana, USA - JUL 14, 2012
On tap. Pours a darker amber-red with a smaller eggshell head that leaves plenty of soapy lace behind. Nose is hoppy, spicy and citrusy, with a little caramel presence. Taste is pretty bitter with a little sweetness. Lighter side of medium bodied with lots of bitterness on the end. Nice amber, plenty hoppy and fairly easy drinking.

Pours a nice red, cream head. Pretty malty, nice floral aroma. Tastes the same, well balanced and clean finish. Has more character than the Killians and Lieni’s of the world.

esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 13, 2008
On tap at Olde Peninsula brewpub. Copper amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt and light citrus hops. Taste of caramel, cereal grains, toasted malts and light hops. Carbonated body is balanced with a nice caramel-hop finish. Along with the stout, the best beer at the brew pub.

shendrix (478) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Caramel with cloves and butterscotch notes. This is a nicely refreshing side to a burger.

Tasted 4/26/08. Sampler from the brewpub. Hazy with a dark amber hue. Off white halo of head. Bready nose. Touch of a fruity undertone. Medium bodied with a nice toasty flavor. Mild diasytl. Off dry palate. Slight coffee and moderate grain roast. Not too bad.
