Jul 27, 2009 250 ml bottle. Clear brass, no head. Nose is honey and plum brandy with a hint of botanicals. Thin syrup but not overly sticky. Taste is honey, citrus and clover. Mostly sweet, this is a mead, but does have a bit of sour from the chokeberries to add some balance.

May 25, 2009 Updated: Aug 8, 2009Deep blond color. It has a medium to light honey aroma, with very light lemon scent; late, there is an impression of glue. Lean body, well sweet but not syrupy, with medium honey flavor, not complex but surely well balanced; the alcohol is warming, pleasant, and this helps in the final. Good.
