Sul palato si depositano impressioni di melone, acqua di sorgente, spezie, liquirizia, anice, fiori bianchi, umami e riso al vapore.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2019 Fruity aroma of marmelade. Spicy and alcoholic taste with a fruity finish. Fairly nice.

April 2018 - Bottle at Sushi and Robata, Kensington. Short review with Teresa. As 'Kubota Senju', 15%. Pours clear, still, no head. Looks like water. Boosty, boosty water. Aroma is estery apple and pear, booze, airy. Body is smooth with lowish carbonation if any. Taste is creamy and rounded, breathy alcohol versus some botanicals and rice extract. A little rough around the edges but OK. Like most sake, this is a functional and unexciting beverage. (6-3-5-3-12=2.9)

Short bottle at Takumi in Falls Church. Small fluted tasting glass. Looks like vodka. Aroma is clean, with some floral and nutty notes. Taste has rice, flora, mild grass, earth. Very drinkable. Crisp.

Bottle at Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Very pale color. The aroma has some anise, alcohol, not much fruit. The mouthfeel is soft, alcohol flavor, persimmon, drier in the final.
Not the best one.

Bottle - Lots of pear and melon and touch of booze.Almost completely clear. Sweet, rich mouthfeel and melon. Heavy and boozy. Not delicate.

Very light straw colored. Aroma is mild rice aroma, with hints of hay, yeast and some fruits. Taste is slightly dry, yet kind of mild with a round rice flavor, hay, minerals, yeast. Nice warming mild boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

A bit fruitier in terms of citrus than most other Sakes. Very popular and generally pretty low priced due to this. Otherwise some melon and some alcohol. Solid if not super interesting outside of the strong citrus note. Semi-recommended for fans of heffweizen.

720ml bottle. Pours clear with a hint of pale yellow and no head. Aroma is rice and mellow melon fruity. Taste is rice, melon, with dry warming slightly earthy alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, no carbonation, warming finish. Quite drinkable.
