COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
NAMA SAKE is a draft-style sake that is purified not by heat pasteurization but rather through micro-filterization. Since high temperatures can often change the subtle flavors of sake, this micro-filterization process better retains all of the original flavors of sake. "Nama " means fresh, indicating that it is bottled immediately after production rather than being aged for a few months like our other sakes.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2018 300ml bottle. Pale sake colour, aroma is bland boozy sake, typical, flavor is kind of buttery like corn on the cob, sweetish, rice candy, mild, ok.

Looks a bit like water with a hint of lime onboard. Moderate and decent aroma. Not the heavy basement and rice stuff. Medium body. Well masked alcohol. Fruity, rice, citric and some basement in the flavor.
[Bottle from Systembolaget web order in Sweden]

(Bouteille provenant de Holiday Wine Cellar): Chocolat blanc, sésame, anis et une présence assez iodée. Le corps est pesant et riche. Gagne vraiment à respirer.

Oh my, a Sake that isn’t completely white as there is a small yellow tinge, how is this possible (joking.) Aroma of vanilla and almonds and the taste is the same with an alcoholic kick and the end. The nut flavor at the end balances this well. My favorite from this Sake brewer, but then again that is not saying much. A bit different from most Sakes.

First sake. Poured from a cold bottle. Very clear liquid with a very subtle hint of yellow. Smells like fruit and plum. Slight grain flavor, plum and alcohol flavors. I don’t have a base for rating, there for I will rate off of personal likes.
