ruigo (3079) - PORTUGAL - NOV 29, 201550cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Poor retention. Grain, barnyard and light yeast in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is bitter with some sour and herbal notes. Overall, a nice beer.
DraftDodger (7618) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2015Copenhagen 24/11 2015. 50 cl bottle from Irma. I expect this to be another strange experience like Herslevs Hay Beer. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam with some lacing. Aroma is strangely sweet. Some sugary sweetness mixed with some sharp sour aroma. A little earthy. Reminds me of the smell of sticky shoots of fir. Low carbonation and slightly oily palate. Taste follows the nose. Sugary sweetness. Probably like licking resin off a tree trunk with fruity bitter sour aftertaste. I like my Christmas trees well enough but you will not see me licking the trunk. More special than pleasant.
CloakedDagger (9945) - - OCT 27, 2015Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Yeasty, lightly spicy aroma. Medium body, again very yeasty, a dry fruitiness and a distinct imprint of the spruce. Finish is very dry. Drinkable at least, but I cannot say that I enjoy it much. 271015
