UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 Bottle. Pours clear orangeish darkish amber with airy vut stable beige head. Clear aroma of caramel, yeast, and malt, with mild spicy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of caramel malt. Bitter and estery aftertaste eith bready notes with acidic hints. Reasonable but not top notch.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 Bottle, 6.9%. OK caramelly aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty, slightly caramelly, slightly fruitily funky and citric.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2019 Botella. 7,2% alc. by vol. 7. 2018 version. Hazy nice amber colour with a medium bubbly white head. -Pleasant sweet fruity hoppy and malty aroma with caramel. Good palate. Malty caramel fruity hops in the flavour with some dark fruit to it, medium bitterness, pleasant.

Juleøl med for lidt kryderier. Ellers velsmagende. Tilpas med sødme og bitterhed. Savner aroma.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2019 Copenhagen 26/12 2017. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin. Very somber dark red and orange label with a lot of information about the ingredients. By the way the 2017-edition on has an ABV of 6,9. Pours slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Settles as very thin frothy layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate Lacing. Aroma is sweet and fruity - and a little weak. Dark fermented fruit, candy, brown sugar and some spicy lightly bitter notes. Soft lightly prickly carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is fairly sweet with a little spicyness but not much bitterness. Aftertaste has more bitterness and semi dry finish. A bit on the sweet side - but it does not become cloying due to the lightness of the beer.
