EvNa (4726) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2019 Bottle. Color: Dark, slightly hazy, reddish brown, thin beige head. Aroma: Sourish, hay. Taste: Moderate sourish and moderate sweet. Very little bitterness, coming from the Hemp according to the label because no hops are used brewing this beer. Hay, grassy, green plants, probably the normal taste of hemp but I have no experience with that. Weird, not that much taste at all. Some subtle red fruit and herbal hints but also not much. Low carbonation, under medium to medium body. I like the experiment to brew without hop and am glad to have the chance to taste this beer, but I think it needs some other flavours to give it more taste.

DraftDodger (7615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2018
Copenhagen 5/7 2018. 50 cl bottle from Irma. White label with the rudimentary information about the beer like that it's based on local ingredients and possesses "acidic ferocity". An example of Herslev's terroir approach. Pours dark brown with small white head. Disappears fairly fast. No lacing. Aroma starts out a little bland but gets more character as the beer warms up. Notable acidity. Hints of Licorice, vinegar. Tart goose berries. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft texture. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by considerably stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is acidic. A bit watery. Interesting approach giving me a Deja Vu to the New Nordic Kitchen. The acidicity works quite ok but it is a little bit too watery by the end of the day.

Draught sample at CBF 18. Dark amber colour with a creamy off white head. Sweet and herbal spicy notes. Strange yet enjoyable.

50cl bottle from SlackerMads, as part of the EU Local Swap 2017, thanks! A dark reddish brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of herbs, liquorice, soft tart fruits, red fruits, grapes. Taste of red wine, tart fruits, herbs, some vinagar, quite interesting!
