COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The dark caramel, large dense headed brew, with its 8.8% alcoholic content, is unique due to its sweet notes of chocolate and coffee interspersed into a foundation of dark roasted barley. Symbolic black to denote leadership, power, focus and strength, is dominant in the labeling as the lion journeys in the twilight unafraid, unbowed and unchallenged.

HighSparkDiesel (788) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - MAY 8, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2023 A small bottle drunk at Dad's place while home on leave. Purchased online courtesy of Ceylon Supermart, thank you very much. Aroma: roasted malt, chocolate digestive biscuits. Appearance: cola, tan lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation; malty, rather sweet finish. Taste: lightly-bitter with sweet notes, quite well-balanced; coffee, biscuit. Alcohol is unobtrusive, pleasantly warming - pretty good stuff.

tfontana (5556) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 5, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 5, 2023 Can (best by 9/24--looks like born 8/25/22) pour from Total Wine & More, Burlington. It's an opaque dark cola brown--virtually black--with no sparkle, light viscosity, finger-width beige head quickly fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is a strong earthy roasted malt with chocolate and hint of anise and coffee. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, decent complexity and nice balance. A pleasant surprise!
