UPDATED: JAN 10, 2024 Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a large fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus and stoney fruits and also some nutty hints. Taste is again citrusy with yellow fruits also coming through and a lemon pithy hop bitterness on the finish. Thin to medium body with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Nice refreshing summery drink.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2023 14-12-2023; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Belgium). The looks of the beer are nice. It is a pale golden yellow brew. It has a lovely golden glow. The beer is nice and clear. It has a nice frothy white layer of foam on top. Foam retention is rather low. A minimal drape of foam is left only. Not bad. The aroma of the beer is very nice. Malts give the beer some lovely caramel notes with some nice bready touches. Hops give some lovely aroma. Citrus, some nice lemon and lime, some slight stone fruit notes. Yeast gives some nice slightly fruity notes too. Nice. The taste of the beer is nice too. Bitter hops, sweet malts and quite some nice citrus sours. Very well balanced. The mouthfeel is also nice. Medium body, smooth texture and rather high carbonation. The finish is nice. It has some nice bready malts and a lovely citrus note, lingering on for quite some time. It is a Belgian Ale with a lovely citrus hop note. Nicely done.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2023 Appearance: cloudy gold with a decent off-white frothy head. Aroma: pale malt, spicy and fruity yeast, herbs, citrus fruits. Taste: similar picture, rather dry. Pronounced hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: well-tasting.

Slightly biscuity, pale malty and yeasty fruity aroma, unspecific fruitiness. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally biscuity, pale malty and mildly bitter hoppy, minimally fruity, unspecific fruitiness. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2023 Copenhagen 13/5 2023. 33 cl bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. NV. Black label with the outline of a Wolfs head. Pours unclear dirty yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is fairly intense with a malty and yeasty odor mingling with a fruity sourish bitter scent. Sweet pale malts, humid, damp cellar, lemon and gooseberries. A bit sharp. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry. Fairly bitter and elegant Belgian Ale.
