Stone Ruination IPA was the first full-time brewed and bottled West Coast double IPA on the planet. As craft beer has evolved over the years, so too have techniques for maximizing hop flavors and aromas. For the second incarnation of our groundbreaking India pale ale, we employed dry hopping and hop bursting to squeeze every last drop of piney, citrusy, tropical essence from the hops that give this beer its incredible character. We’ve also updated the name to reflect the imperial-level intensity that’s evident in every sip. Join us in cheering this, the second stanza in our “Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop.”

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2022 Canned, 355ml from my birthday stash, cheers. Brownish gold with white head. Extra dry beer with a resinous, pine needle kick to it. Bitter orange, pithy citrus and apricot alcohol notes. Full on the palate. Very good.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2022 Almost orange colour with white head. Great taste of hops, tangerine and flowers. Taste is malt, hops, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus and flowers. Great bitterness and covers alcohol percentage well. Tasted as a relief having a nasty, numb finger.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2022 Beautiful. What could easily be too bitter or too malty all comes together b/c Stone. Great hops, but still big on bitter, almost to a fault, but okay by style. clearly the assault Stone was going for
