Aroma/taste: barley, bread, caramel, light smoke, light liquorice, light coffee, chocolate and light ashy notes. Palette: strong roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration, light dry roasted finish and a watery texture. Overall: Enjoyable porter

Turboninja (2423) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 12, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2022 Medium, averagely balanced, bit watery notes of roasted coffee, a hint of light roasted malts, a hint of ash. Medium/light body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, bit simple and raw, but considering the heritage, even too clear and school book like. 5 4 7 4 14

Vintherbottom (74) - DENMARK - MAY 23, 2019
Ok.

colui72 (4897) - Sassari, ITALY - JUL 23, 2018
Pours black, medium beige head, nice lacing and huge chunks of sediment. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa and coffee. Typical porter with a strong dark malt side, cocoa, coffee, licorice and dark fruit, medium bitter and rich in taste. Medium body, soft carbonation and bitter finish. A porter without a distinctive character but very well made.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2018 Bottiglia. Schiuma abbondante beige scuro, birra marrone con riflessi mogano. Al naso cioccolato, caffè, torrefatto e affumicato. Sentori etilici. Gusto dolce che vira subito verso l'amaro. Abbastanza astringente. Retrogusto di caffè. Alcol ben evidente.

Tao@birri.black. Ripe dried dark berries, black cherries on nose. Dry roasty, old wody. Meddish bodied, roasty malty. Light easy drinker. Couldnt get much vanilla. Felt like an oud bruin first, the as an overfermented roasty dark drink.
Earlier Rating: 4/21/2016 Total Score: 3.4
Tap@ölhus cph. Black. Roast on nose, bit muddy tarry, salmiak-y, old woody. Ed light bodied, pretty easy, even a tad thon feeling. Nice enough long finish, malty, portery chocolate flavour. Quite decent.

50cl bottle from Slackermads, as part of the EU Local Swap 2017, thanks! A dark brown/black beer with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet and dark malt, chocolate, lactose. Taste of mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, sugar, lactose, nice!

Bottle. 5.9%. Best before 19.12.18. Pours an unclear/murky dark brown, with a tan head. Fruit and berry aroma, slightly tart. Light roasted malt in the background, increasing a bit as it warms. Plastic note as it warms as well. Weak flavour; (dark-ish) fruits, berries. Remote (citrusy) hops in the background. Not a whole lot else going on. Mildly bitter finish, hints of licorice, with a lingering metallic note and a dark chocolate-y bitterness. Bit of (roasted) malt and an ashy note as it warms, as well as light citrusy hops. A wee bit too much carbonation. Overall so-so; not bad, but really not too porter-like; too much fruit and too little malt, though warming does make it a bit better. Also, both aroma and flavour are somewhat weak. Inoffensive. 27.10.17.
