Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma of birch smoke, slight citric, grassy and woody. Flavor is bittersweet, woody, zesty, smokey and with some wheaty notes. Really interesting to taste. Has a real nordic feel to it someway. Aftertaste is smokey sweet, carbonation is moderately high. Very cool.

Draught at Taphouse. Clear amber colored with a huge off-white head. Fruity aroma of smoke with burnt notes. Fruity and light roasted flavor of smoke with burnt notes. Smoked finish.

From tap. Poura cloudy orange with a thick and creamy off white head. Aroma is chalky and toasted malty. Herbal, chalky, malty. Dusty. Mild peated. Dry and herbal finish.

Tap@Taphouse. Pours clear amber with tall offwhite head. Aroma is light fruity with a little sourness to it and some peated smoke. Taste is sweetish, fruity, spicy with peated and biscuit aftertaste. Hops is not tastable and mouthfeel is light.

Draft. An amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of vanilla, other spices, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of vanilla, cardemomme, alcohol, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish.

A hazed golden ale with a thin creamy lacing off white head. In aroma, lightly peated chocolate malt, grassy hops, nice and surprising. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light peated notes, scotch barrel, light mineral notes, nice and pleasant. On tap at Bjorgardurinn.

Cloudy pale with nice aroma of cocoa, vanilla and fresh citrus with grassy undertones. Sweet palate, sweet finish.

Aroma: grapes, red fruits, light lime and citrus fruits. Appearance: hazy brown, very small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweet fruits, grape juice, light bitters coming up, dry, bitter finish. Overall: interesting ’white stout’, really smells slightly like a Sour and tastes funny. Pint at CBC, Holborn.
