Mon exemplaire avait 4 ans et 18 jours de bouteille.
Couleur marron soutenu aux reflets acajou, et clarté nette.
Bulles fines, partout, à montée lente.
Mousse brun clair, à gros flocons, stable à 2 mm.
Arômes de fruits confits, cannelle, résine, gelée royale.
1ère bouche de caractère, à nette dominance des fruits confits.
Arrière-bouche avec une note muscadée et poivrée trop insistante.
2ème bouche avec résine, zeste de pamplemousse et encens.
Arrière-bouche qui équilibre mieux cet ensemble de caractère.
Longueur qui trouve un joli rythme de croisière.
Jambes huileuses, longues.
Levure boisée, très correcte.
Alcool bien présent, progressif, il arrive à donner du relief à la
longueur, en équilibrant mieux les saveurs.
Finale avec une belle ampleur.
CONCLUSION : une entame excessive pour cet imperial ipa, qui
trouvera sur la longueur un meilleur équilibre à son fort potentiel.

Alusmamuts (3968) - LATVIA - NOV 9, 2018Yellow bit hazy with rich white head. Fruity aroma (yeast notes). Medium bitterness mixed with fruity sweet-sourness (yeasty notes), nicely balanced. Slight bitter aftertaste.
