UPDATED: DEC 31, 2022 Draught. Brownish black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted, some caramel, mild yeast as well as some spicy and mild citrus tones. Flavour is roasted, some citrus, spices, caramel and mild earthy tones. Strange, but in a way pleasant.

Draft @ LCBF 2016. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with yeasty hints. Slightly roasted malty spicy caramel yeasty bready flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Weak blackish pour with a small head. Notes of citrus, chocolate, estery and some ripe pears.

Tap. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, slight estery notes and chocolate. Taste of bread, dark malts, liquorice, esters and dry Cocoa.

Tap at Zmogsala beer festival. One of the last beers so it’s not gonna be very precise. Mostly blackberries, roasted malts, some spices and maybe coffee, quite sweet. Black body, low head. Meh.

Notes from #Metenis event. Dark amber with smal white head. Moderate bitterness, medium sourness and hit aof sweet; fruity notes.

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A reddy caramel brown coloured pour with a light tan head. Aroma is charred wood, oats, black malts, earthy, coffee; Flavour is composed of earthy black malts, coffee, bitter roast, charred wood, little soy. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carboantion, grainy. Not much saison yeast character.

Keg, hanging bat, Edinburgh. Pours black opaque with a medium brown foam subsiding slow. Scent is light notes of mulled wine but fairly plain seasoned porter. Taste is flavors of red wine, light mulled wine, sort of dark roasted malt or even coffee. Finish is dry and a bit harsh. Disappointing. Good.
