Copper/amber in color, lightly hazy with a medium lasting off white head. Sticky syrup and citrus in the aroma, a bit resinous, aroma is good but I thought the aroma would be even more intense than it was. Taste has alot of hops, sticky citrus and light tropical fruit, alot of pine with a strong bitterness. Body is quite full, has alot of toasted malt character but the body doesn’t get too over the top. Bitterness lingers nicely, gets stronger as you continue to drink it. Some alcohol in the finish. boamr (137), Pennsylvania, USA

Pours an amber color with a nice white head. has a nice citrus smell to it. Taste is citrus at first but seems a little watery on the back, Little disappointed with the finish on this one Nik925 (305), California, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Unbelievably hoppy. Not that I was expecting a pale lager but this still exceeded the amount of hops I was expecting. Sticky, completely out of balance in an amazing way. Not that malty / minimally double IPA in the malt make up, then again it is 9.5%, I guess it is just that you can’t taste the malt under all the hops. Like hop juice, wait that is a different beer. If you want hops more than beer this is perfect for you. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 28, 2009 Bomber from stfun.... Poured into a snifter, nice dark hazy orange color. Small head that faded quickly. Nice piney and citrus aroma. Taste is fruity hops with a mild amount of bitterness... Well balanced. Easy to drink. I was expecting more of a hop bomb... Texture was average, could use a little more carbonation. Overall, a nice DIPA to sip on and watch the phillies win game 1 in the WS. Thanks josh! tokyogoat (509), San Diego, California, USA

Nose is bright and clean with pine, grapefruit, and hints of vanilla.
Taste starts with a big harsh hop bitterness, lots of pine, nice earthy flavors, hints of vanilla, a little bit of grapefruit. Great beer, but i think it raped my palate.
