UPDATED: JUL 10, 2022 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours clear golden with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and estery touches. Sweet flavour of malt and yeast, with bitter, hoppy notes and bready touches. Malty and hoppy aftertaste with bitter touches. A very nice beer for the style and quite enjoyable as such, too.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2018 On tap @Hausbrauerei Altstadthof (Nuremberg). Ambrata, intensa, schiuma bianco-sporca media, discretamente persistente. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, rotonda, con finale amaro caratterizzante. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Molto buona.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready, grassy, fresh green-citrusy, a touch peas. Taste is fresh hoppy, bready, cereals, caramel, a touch peas. A touch booze in the back. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Good, but due to the vegetal flavours definitely not the top German Maibock for me. After a couple of minutes, this beer loses the pea flavours and becomes a very well hopped Bock.

Clear amber. Aroma is grassy hops with much fruity notes orange zest bonbon clove muscat. Taste is full bodied herbal character. Not too aggressive. Tart. Full bodied. Apparently dryhopped according to the Altstadthof staff. IPL maybe?

Moravius (3893) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2016
Gut bitterer Abgang. - Gediegen malzaromatischer heller Bock mit großzügiger, aromatischer Hopfung. Ausgezeichnet!

biir (3787) - Hamburg, Hamburg, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2016
Tab at the Brewpub - Goldene Farbe mit stabiler Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr blumig, lecker. Trockener Abgang.
