Tap. Slightly hazy pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits and hoppy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and with bitter notes. Anice Barley. 🌟🌟🌟

0.5 draft @ Fermentoren
Dark amber color. Aroma of sweet pears. Some vinous flavors though fruits and flowers dominate the experience. The beer becomes even sweeter towards the end, rosy notes are introduced. Decent.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear amber with a thick and persistent off-white head. Aromas of fruit cake, bread, light mixed spice. Taste has dried fruit, redcurrants, toffee and spice. Good balance. Creamy texture, light sweet finish. Very good example of the style.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours deep dark red. Nose is lots of red fruits, cranberry, orange, caramel, citrus hops. Tastes caramel, red fruits, citrus and grassy hops, earthy, sweet but not overly so. Theres definitely sth I like in this one.

Dark amber. Fruity and estery aroma with some caramel and light alcohol. Strong, malty and caramelly flavour. Sweet taste and a strong, bittersweet finish. Full body and soft texture. Overall, a pretty good barley wine. Big and powerful, but also somewhat simple. Bordering on caramel overload. I did not notice any peat malt.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - a stunning autumnal red with a nice lacy head. Perfect appearance. Nose - Werthers originals and clove rocks. Taste - redcurrants and raspberries. Red cherries. Cranberries. Are there any red fruits I haven’t mentioned? Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - excellent. Totally nailed. I didn’t get peat. I just found complex red fruit.
