Tap (Riga Craft Beer Festival 2016)
Murky rhubarb juice look. Sweet homebrew fruit wine aroma - heady vapours, a bit shocking. Doesn’t prepare me for the godawful taste though. Hot booze and acetone, and a bit fruity like some horrible prison wine, a true horror. Kraft brewing pretty much at its worst, this is undrinkable. It’s prison wine, honestly. Causes flashbacks of the images on The Sneeze’s "Steve Don’t Eat It!" prison wine edition.

On tap ar RCBW 2016. Hazy, browne colour. Very thin head. Sweetness, toffee, caramel, hints of bread, hints of dark fruits, slight sourness in the aroma. Bread and sourness at first. Quite acidic, slightly berriful in the middle. Slightly caramelly, bit sour finish. Rather heavy bodied, with sweet to acidic palate, low carbonated beer. Bit weird, but not bad either.

Tap @RCBF 2016. Murky brown color. Small size, bubbly yellowish head, stays. Sour, malty, sweet, fruity in aroma. Apples, acetone, sour, malty in taste. Apples, sour and booze in aftertaste. Undrinkable. Nope.

Nice malty cocktail, some barley wine qualities, caramel, taosted malts, candy sugar, overripe fruitiness, dark dried fruits. Mostly sweet with decent bitterness. Maybe not best balance or fancy character, but I really like this brew. Somehow different, but awesome

RedSox2004 (2053) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Hazy reddish brown with a two-finger beige head and moderate lace aromas of grains, candy sugar and dark fruit, Candy sugar and dark fruit sweetness with cherry tartness, yeast and oak. Full body, generous carbonation, silky mouthfeel and a lingering tartness in the finish. Closer to a sour than a quad, but very good nonetheless.

Tap at Logsdon. A: Cloudy amber with a thin white head. Lacing. N: Pineapple, orange syrup, clove, toffee, raisin, and fig. White peppercorn. A bit of funk and oak. T: Quite sweet and just a touch tart. M: Medium body, no alcohol, soft carbonation. O: Successful American Quad. Not quite as chewy as the Belgians and a bit funkier.

Draught at Taphouse. Clear ruby colored with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and orange peel. Sweet and fruity flavor of caramel and dried fruits with notes of over ripened fruits and orange peel. Sweet finish.

Brassy amber body with a frothy, slightly caramel brown head. Sweet, syrupy melanoidin and maple nose oozing caramel. Smooth and maple caramel imbued body with a Brett underpinning. Tasting richly of cooled Wort. Washed out maple-caramel vinegar fruit finish. Strong doppelbock character with Oud Bruin nuances.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - fuzzy orange amber pour with small head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, caramel, treacle, brown sugar, nice hoppy backing, some light spices into the close. Interesting.
