Chopp. Totally black colour, small light brown head. Lovely smoky roasted malt choco alco aroma. Good palate. Flavour: Heavy roasted maltiness with smoke/peat, chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol. Filling sweet brew.

Opaque black color with a small, beige head of no lacing and low retention. Very strong aromas and taste of dark chocolate, coffee beans, smoke and vanilla. Light sweetness that turns into along-lasting, medium and burnt bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture and low carbonation with a light alcoholic warmth at the end. Very nice smoked stout with imperial traits, enjoyable from start to finish in which flavors come one after the other as it warms up.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2018 Taste of coffee, smoke and dark bitter chocolate with some bitterness from the malt. Nice and soft but could maybe do with some more resistance

On tap at Banksia, Copenhagen. Pours black with beige head. Roasted, chocolate, licorice, smoke, quite sweet with dry finish. Medium to full bodied, oily, soft carbonation.

Draught@Taphouse (backlog from CBC16-weekend). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is smoked wood, liquorice, toffee and some ripe fruits. Flavour is smoked wet wood, some liquorice, toffee and mild ripe fruits as well as some slight alcohol.

[5/16/16] Draught at Taphouse in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Aroma of smoke, roast, some chocolate, licorice. Roasty flavor, smoky, with salty licorice and some dark fruits. Medium to full-bodied.

Draught at Taphouse, shared with Skinnyviking. Jet black body, dissipating fawn-head, fair lacing. Bacon and a backdrop of chocolate on the nose. Similar taste of peat added by chocolate moments. Lingering roasted malty end. Fine bodied. Pleasing (Copenhagen 15.05.2016).

Draught at Taphouse. Low fluffy off-white lasting head. Pitch black body. Mild smoke malt aroma. Mild and smooth roasted malt coffee aroma with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. Well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely subdued.
