UPDATED: DEC 18, 2021 Strefa Piwa kept the beer in it's cellar for 10 years and put on tap for its 10th birthday anniversary! Bit of alcohol, fenols, dark fruits, raisins in aroma. Warming alcohol, bitterness, then dark malts, raisins in taste. Sourness, funky style from aging noticeable. Aftertaste dominated by dark malts, cocoa like. Medium body. Smooth, yet burning on palate. Clean bitterness. Maybe vanilla here and there. Barley wine married Flanders Red Ale.

Kran w Carpe Kraft. Barwa miedziana, niezła piana. Sporo słodowości, toffi, nuta ameretto, w smaku nie za słodkie, delikatnie kwaskowe.

Barwa głęboko miedziana z dosyć jasną pianą. Aromat to dominująca nuta nalewki również nieco miodowa, wyraźnie słodka. W smaku niewyczuwalny jest alkohol natomiast czuć wyraźne rozgrzewanie po każdym łyku. Dodatkowo czuć daktyle, rodzynki i ogólnie rzecz biorąc jest słodko. Whisky niespecjalnie czuć. Po ogrzaniu zaczyna szybko męczyć.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Hazy brown with a big light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, dark fruit, light glue, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. The glue/acetone note takes a lot away from this beer. 021216

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours hazy dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, wet wood, tart oak, sweet dried dark fruits, little acetone. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, wood, portwine, oak, dark dried fruits, dates, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Nice, but i do get light acetone / glue notes in the aroma. 011216

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus, 12%. Unclear dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark fruit, oak, wood, whiskey and ripe fruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, sweet, oak, wood, whiskey, dark fruit, alcohol, warming, ripe fruit, notes of sourness, notes of acetone, little sugar and medium bitter.

From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a hazy dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma has lots of toffee, sherry-like notes, heavy butterscotch, toasted malts, overripe red apples. Taste is sweet, fudgy,, light bitter/dry finish. Leaves a layer of oil in your mouth. Oily body and a rather low carbonation.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2016 Tap (Szynkarnia, Wroclaw). Miedziany kolor, bezowa piana, krotka. Aromat owocowy, alkoholowy, jak sliwowica, intensywny ale zbyt alkoholowy. Owocowe w smaku, intensywne z minimalnym alkoholem ale ogolnie dosc dobrze ukrytym z owocowo-slodkawym, subtelnym kwaskiem w posmaku. Lekko oleiste w konsysyencji, pijalne, wyraznie rozgrzewajace, calkiem przyjemne ale jakiegos wielkiego szalu nie robi.

Beczka w KiK. Barwa ciemno brunatna, brązowa, mętna z bardzo niską pianą. Aromat zdominowany przez wiśnie. Piwo bazowe zupełnie niewyczuwalne. Po ogrzaniu uwidacznia się beczka po czerwonym winie następnie pojawiają się posmaki whisky. Wysycenie w kierunku średniego. Alkohol b.dobrze ukryty, chodź pod koniec zaczyna lekko szczypać w podniebienie. Piwo bardzo przeciętne. Być może powodem tego był koniec beczki.

Keg at Craft 100 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours hazy reddish brown with a creamy, light tan head. The nose holds a bit of varnish, light caramel, dried fruits, bread. Moderately sweet, boozy, with more notes of varnish, toasty malts, caramel, light vanilla. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming on the finish with kicks of paint, alcohol, woody dryness. A bit messy.
