A traditional take on this sour and salty style of German wheat beer - inoculated with lactobacillus for tartness, and brewed with coriander for herbal notes and salt for a crisp, refreshing salinity. First released in January 2016.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2023 Draught@CBC2016. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some lemon, mild yeast as well as some slight salty and herbal tones. Flavour is citrus, quite salty with some bready elements as well as mild acidity to it. Still very smooth, and actually refreshing after some heavier stuff.

On tap at Haand Festival. An unclear yellow colored beer with a nice white head leaving curtains. Gooseberries, rhubarb notes and some hints of grass in the aroma. White bread too. It’s medium to full-bodied and quite dry, with a faint bitterness and a salty flavor. Gooseberries, rhubarb and white bread in the flavor. A pleasant and quenching beer that I could easily down a few of. 160527

Draught at the brewhouse. Wow, this knocks your socks off with the sour. After w while, it becomes perfectly drinkable when accustomed to the sourness. I think it could benefit from a bit more flavour.
