UPDATED: FEB 4, 2023 Bottled. Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toast, some toffee, mild herbs as well as some roasted notes and mild smoked wet wooden elements. Flavour is roasted, some slight rye tartness with toffee, and mild ashy notes with some chocolaty elements too.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2021 (Bottle) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, black rye bread, liquorice, raisins and some smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, black rye bread, chocolate, liquorice, raisins, vanilla, molasses, smoke and a finish with a mild roasty bitterness and some chilli heat. Full body, really sweet. Hardly balanced and far too sweet, but rich and tasty. Nice one.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2020 Black body brown head. Aroma is smoke dark roasted malts. Taste is malts red fruits chilis. Aftertaste is roasted malts some heat from the chilli.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2020 bottle @ home, cellared for four years. medium, lasting beige head and an almost back liquid. sweet, dry aroma with rye, smoke, raisins, molasses, licorice , hers and vanilla. Big body, smooth, peppery texture. Taste is pleasantly sweet, very smoky and spicy from the chilli. Flavors of chilli, licorice, chocolate, vanilla, ryend leather. Aftertaste is spicy with hot chillies and dried fruits.

The aroma is full of smoke, chili, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. The color is pitch black and the head is khaki colored and fluffy. The taste is full of smoke, chili, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and toffee. A nice beer!

Aromaz are great and smoke dark sweet malt leather rye bread and or pumpernickel leather. Flavors are Lake Nose plus that touch of chili for just a hint of heat which is super tasty. Perfect body and finish. What a great beer!
