Cask at GBBF 2009. Amber ith a small white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, rosemary and thyme. Very spicy flavour too, as if there is added spice. It’s too dominating and a little cloying.

Tap@MessrsMaguire. Banana and light hoppy aroma. Murky yellow, white head, good lace. Wheat, banana, yeasty, sweetish, light bitter. Soft mouth feel. Refreshing, balanced, surprisingly German.

On draught at Messrs Maguire in Dublin. Cloudy, golden colour with little white head. Aroma was somewhat fruity. Tasted rather tarty with some citrus notes and faint spices. Little bitter finish and aftertaste. Not greatly balanced. An average hefeweizen.

[2140-20090515] Tap. Mild petrol and yeasty aroma. Hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Wheaty yeast flavour has some fruity tartness and hint of pencil lead. Medium body. Average.

2009-05-15. Lightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Flavour has a muddled way about it, mild esters, tart wheaty finish. (5+) Aroma is a bit wonky, pale malts, citrus, lemon hints, but with an over layer of dishwater like touches, or pineapple gone a bit off. Average palate. Odd. On tap at the brewpub.

Hazy yellow coloured beer with some light carbonation and a very small white head. Strange fruity yeasty wheat aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter wheat touched. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow with a large, white head. Yeasty aroma with bananas. Very spicy and herby flavour; wormwood. Ok bitterness.
