Keg at the Taphouse CPH, 13/08/16. Mahogany brown with a well appointed beige cap. Nose is dark fruit rinds, chocolate, light hop notes, toffee. Taste comprises chocoalte, fruit cake, spice, dark malts, raisins, faint smoke. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. So so for the style ... lacks depth and complexity.

KRS 070117. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, malt. Flavor is alcohol, malt, dried fruit, caramel, caramel, bread. Full body, OK beer.

Bottle @ Fairbar, Aarhus. Pours dark amber with a tan head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet fruity hops, wood, little alcohol. Flavor is light sweet, rather bitter, malty, caramel, wood, fruit, alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 080417

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Good looking unclear amber body with a dense beige head. Aroma has dry fruit, raisins, sweetish malt and some vinous alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet malt, dry fruit and caramel. Full bodied and sweet aftertaste with some warming alcohol. Quite straight forward but not bad at all, rather pleasant sipper actually.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and very unpleassant bitter with a long bitter, warm, caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden colored beer with a dense, beige head. Caramel, bread and some alcohol in the aroma. It’s full-bodied, warming and rather sweet, with flavors of bitterness, sweetness, caramel and bread. Warming, sweet finish. Not much interesting going on here. 170107

30-SEP-2016, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Hazy, dark brown with a lasting, lacing, tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and hops. Taste the same. Better than feared. It is somewhat sweet but finish is hoppy bitter. Full body but a bit too alcoholic. OK.
