COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A limited release kettle-soured Berliner Weisse with a late addition of fresh brewed coffee. The flavour is reminiscent of a fresh espresso, a nice acidity coupled with lightly roasted coffee flavours. It has a soft palette which compliments itself quite nicely to the rich complexity of the coffee. Malts: Pilsner and wheat. Hops: Saaz. Aroma: a burst of fresh brewed coffee coupled with a soft citrus aroma to balance it out. Food pairings: croissants, bagels and smoked salmon, biscotti.

Keg at Draft House Goodge Street. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. There’s an odd papery, cereal note in the nose, some citrus, grains. Light sweet flavour with mellow acidity, a little lemon, jammy citrus, creamy coffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean finish, lightly drying, with faint coffee grounds, tart lemon, citrus candies. Interesting. OK overall.

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Hazy paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and very dry with decent carbonation. Minerally seltzer. Tangy coffee, weird in the gentle sour backdrop. Bone dry finish. A horribly over dry mess.
