COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Black IPA - A thing like you’ve never tasted it before. This is a "hybrid" (and not stylish) between an Imp. IPA & Imp. Stout. This beer is brewed in order to show that there is a "style" not shared by Ratebeer.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2023 Draught. Black colour with a mediumsized brown foamy head. Aroma is quiite zesty with some tropical fruits, chocolate and mild alcohol. Flavour is fruity, some nectary, chocolaty, toasted and mild alcohol and liquorice tones to it. Surprisignly good, even though a bit on the boozy side.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2021 330ml bottle. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, caramel, floral hops and alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, liqourice, resin, floral dry hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with average to soft carbonation. 3.5 years past the best before date but still 330ml of pure awesomeness!

Bottle 33cl. Black with brown head. Nose has hints of dried fruit, but also the typical stout tones. This is a teaser, some hoppy tones but combined with barley wine style. Not sure that it works. I expected an over the black IPA, but this did not materialize. Nothing wrong, but I just expected a different one.

W nosie średnio/wyraźnie intensywnie, dominuje ciemna strona kawa, czekolada, lukrecja plus ciemne owoce. Barwa czarna, pojedyncze rubinowe refleksy, piana beżowa, średniej wysokości o drobnych ziarnach. W smaku dominują słody palone, kawa, gorzka czekolada, trochę żywicy, dodatkowo lekkie nuty kwaskowe. Goryczka wysoka, palona. Alko doskonale ukryte. Butelka do 01.02.2018

330ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. A decent fawn-coloured head to a hazy dark brown body. Clingy lacing. Roasted dark malty aromas with a chocolate bite. Blended taste of dried fruits, coffee-chocolate and bread. Lingering roasted sweet and bitter finish. Ashy palate. Smooth with fine depth. Pleasant.
