UPDATED: MAY 26, 2021 Woooo... this one got me going. A taste easy to drink and solidly strong ipa. Sipped in the park on a Sunday afternoon.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2020 Super fresh grapefruit and touch of lemon zest. Pours golden with decent head and lacing. Bitter end. Good malt backbone. Tap at Confessional

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Restrained aroma in a light gold pour. Hop forward balance with a one dimensional bitter body and finish. Not something I’ll miss.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2019 Bottle with Pat in 2010-11z pours a hazy orange golden with large and lasting head. Notes of spruce, lime, grapefruit, pine, oranges and wood. Big and resinous finish.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2019 Can. Paler gold, little head. Fresh resiny hops, honey ipa. Delicious. Long lasting sappy sweet bitterness. Really enjoyable hop forward ipa, what youd expect from Port.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2018 Can. Brought back from California by my wife. Pour was hazed golden, white head. Aroma of pine, pine resin, fruity, tangerine. Taste was medium bitter, dry, fruit rind, hoppy, bitter finish.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Redstone Liquors, Stoneham (this version says Simcoe and Amarillo hops). Appearance is murky, pale yellow with tons of white, pulpy floaties, light sparkle, finger-width, fizzy white head with fair retention and light, leggy lacing. Aroma is moderate herb, light pine and fruit; spicy. Taste is herbal, lightly fruity, and a spicy bitterness (like rye). Palate is light bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation with the aforementioned spicy bitterness, and finish as taste. Overall, fruitiness not coming through as strongly as the herbal, spicy qualities, which would have made this even better, but still good.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2018 Run of the mill IPA for me. Hops are queued up, the malt is abundant to. But a little bitter and fat in the malt bill.
