UPDATED: SEP 6, 2023 Draught@TCBW2017. Hazy yellowish orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is floral, some mild tartness with a bit sweet malty tones. Flavour is tart floral and sour wooden tones with some mild Riesling like white wine elements. Mellow, but still quite 'bombastic'.

pours almost clear bright gold with a very nice white cap offering some retention and lacing. funky pineapples, not even on tepache grounds which is nice, light to almost medium acidity - on a controlled level, saline herbs, mild spices as well. moderate carbonation, light body, dry and pleasantly tart tropical-citrusy finish. aged really well. solid fruit lambic with a delicate tropical character. much enjoyed!

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2018 100 ml draft in a tulip snifter at Tacochela by Mikkeller. Appearance is an almost clear light golden tone, topped with a little white froth. Aromas are intense sour and citrus. Taste is tart, dry, plenty of fruit, although none too distinct, certainly not pineapple, despite the name. Very smooth and easy drinking!

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 from tap; surprised by the color, not yellow at all, rather oaky brown oxidized; aroma is lambik, no pineapple sticking out, but a bug fruity punch with some acetone and honey; taste is fruity, pineapple since I know it, lying solid on the tongue until phenolic and lactic notes take over; texture is thin with high carbonation

Tap at villains in Chicago. Pours clear orange. Nose is pineapple, passionfruit, lemon. Palate is intense pineapple, I really don’t know how they reach such rich fruity flavours in these spontan beers, some citrus. This beer contains alle the different flavours a pineapple brings to the table, it’s actually like eating a slice, sourness in the back as well. I used to dislike pineapples and I am still not a huge fan though, but I have to honor the fruityness of this beer!
