Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160627]

Tap at Olsnedkeren, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty smoked malt, dry spicy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a grassy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draught at Ølsnedkeren. Pitch black - offwhite head. Nice burned. Licorice. Coffee. Ok bitterness. Earthy. Bitter burned. Dry bitterness. Nice.

Draft @ Ølsnedkeren, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel hoppy aroma. Roasted malty caramel hoppy licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate caramel hoppy finish.

Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel and lactose. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, coffee and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap. Very dark brown with a tiny tan head. Fruity and roasted tones. Malt, fruit, chocolate and hops. Medium body with a malty / roasted finish.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. Close to black in the glass, with a dense, finger thick dark beige head leaving curtains. Roasted aroma with lots of heavy caramel sauce. Some croquant and dark dried fruits. Mocha notes. It’s full bodied and lightly sweetish on the palate, nicely carbonated with caramel sauce, black coffee, mocha and a good bitterness in the flavor. Lasting dry yet sweet finish with roasted, almost burnt malts and caramel. Could use a bit more complexity this one but it’s sure a fine one. 160621

Draught@Ølsnedkeren, Copenhagen. Black colour, mediumsized brown creamy head. Aroma is rather hoppy, some ashes, mild toffee and coffee. Flavour is hops, liquorice, some toffee, ashes and mild wooden notes.

Draught at Ølsnedkeren Århus. Good roasted and creamy aroma. Black colour. Small tan head. The flavour is quite roasted with a good hop bite. Tastes creamy and almost barrel aged to begin with. Becomes more roasted in the finish.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, light chocolate and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
