UPDATED: MAY 1, 2020 Botlle @ home. Dark brown, no head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, roasted, light coconut, some chocolate, dark fruits and alcohol). Flavor heavy sweet, sweet and burning of alcohol, then light coconut, chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla and alcohol. Medium body, low carbonated.

Aroma; some coconut infected aroma. Look; lila beige head, black body. Taste; fermented dark fruits, coconut, cleaning cola, and finishes coconutty. Feel; slick. Overall; coconut wine? I think the funny danish viking made us a joke here. [33cl.btl abv13% Gift from SkinnyViking T@DanishSession @ PivotekaH7 19/2-18] 12223

330ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Black in the glass, low tan-coloured head, dotted spots on the glass. Plain bounty chocolate nose. Sweet taste of syrup, bounty chocolate, and coconuts. Sweet ending with noticeable alcohol. Okay in smaller amounts, way too sweet and unvaried in the long run. (Shared with djoeye and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 19.02.2018).

Flaske 330ml spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7 19 Feb 18. Svarrt. Lavt mokkafarget skum som daler raskt. Aroma av kokos. Smaken likedan. Kanskje et lite snev av Bounty. Utrolig ensformig.

33 cl. bottle at home. Low but lasting brown head. Actually it is very low. Yep black it is. Odd sweet coconut dominated roasted malt cocoa aroma not unpleasant though. Odd sweet roasted malt caramel cocoa coconut flavor with just a hint of spices. Nicely hopped. Low carbonation, long hard to describe finish. Alcohol nicely hidden by the sweetness and the bitterness of the beer.

Bottle @ DØE tasting. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sweets, marshmallows, heavy coconut, chocolate. Flavor is sweet with a light sourness, malty, caramel, marshmallows, coconut, wood, chocolate, alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, sweet and light warming finish. 280617

CloakedDagger (9923) - - JUN 27, 2017
Bottle 33 cl. Pours an intense, opaque black with a beige head. Amazing and intense aroma of toasted coconut, with a slightly unclean roastiness underneath. Rich, sweet body, but not really cloying, again intense and wonderfully complex coconut accents. I don’t really get the marshmallows other than the vanilla edge they add and the sea salt is moderate. A wonderful and complex creation to be enjoyed in small quantities, 270617

Plovmand (12133) - Grindsted, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2017
Bottle. It pours jet black with a beige head. The aroma is roasted malt, sweet coconut and chocolate. Some black berries. The flavor is sweet coconut, chocolate, molasses, sweet roast and a hint of sea salt. Light alcoholic notes. I really like the coconuts in this. A bit unbalanced but a fine example of a coconut Impy Stout.
