guzgorog (1832) - Lille, FRANCE - JAN 21, 2018

Aroma; forest, peaches, fruit, malt. Look; misty golden body, off white film. Taste; fruit bowl, dried fruits, herbs, spices - and finishes the tasty way. Feel; good body, normal co2. Overall; tasty brew. [bt.33cl abv5.4% xp04.11.17 mosaicIPA T@Oktoberfest PivotekaH7 5264'14]

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Hazy orange coloured body, clingy lacing from a low white head. Moderate aroma of peaches and grassy hops. Peachy flavours together with grainy malts. Mid-dry fruit bitter ending. Rounded mouth feel. Pleasing. (Oktoberfest, Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 26.10.2017).

Bottle 33cl, a clear copper beer with low head. Nose is on caramel and toasted caramel, low fruit notes, did not get any hop there for an IPA !? Aroma is in caramel, pine, honey, medium bitterness to low, finish on caramel and hay notes;

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2018 01-07-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Denmark). The looks of the beer are nice. The beer has a nice orange colour. It is not as light as some IPA’s, but it also ain’t extremely dark. The beer has a nice haziness. On top of the beer a nice layer of rough white foam is formed. The bulk of the foam collapses over time, leaving a nice drape. The beer smells nice. I like it. It has some clear single hop IPA features. There is a nice malty basic aroma, giving some sweeter touches to the smell. On top of this there is a strong single hop aroma. It is a strong, firm and robust aroma. I smell some lovely aromas of lemon zest, citrus fruits and some touches of more herbal aromas. Lovely. The hop gives both bitter and slightly acidic aromas, giving lovely fruity touches to the beer. The taste is also nice. There is a nice slightly bready/biscuity malt favour, on top of which the lovely bitters and slightly sour zesty, citrus and herbal hops are placed. The two are in good balance. The taste is quite robust, like a single hop IPA should be in my opinion. Amazing. The palate is good. Medium body, slightly sticky and medium high carbonation. The finish is nice. It contains some nice herbal and piny hop touches, together with a touch of malt and citrus. All in all, quite a nice beer and a good single hop IPA.

DraftDodger (7615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2017
Copenhagen 29/5 2017. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly in Middelfart (part of a Gift Box). The label is simple telling me that this is from Batch no. 19 and a single hop IPA. Pours hazy orange with bubbly white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thin layer of creamy foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is intense and citric. Grape Fruit and pine and something fermented and sweet lurking in the background. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Finish is semi dry. Fine fairly simple IPA with good bitterness. I look forward to the preceding 18.

Bottle. Pours sligtly hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of yeast and hops and touches of bread. Bitter flavour of grass and hops, with sweetish notes of malt and yeast. Bitterish and mildly acidic aftertaste. Rather watery but drinkable.
