Scottishchris (754) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 15, 2016Can from beerhive. Hazy orange, thin head. Sticky caramel nose. Medium body, low carb. Thick mouthfeel, sticky. Bitter resinous taste. Certainly more imperial than double to me (I know there is no technical difference). Just a mile away from the other DIPAS out there at the moment.

Towey1989 (5545) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2016Can from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours a hazy amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of toasted malts, some biscuit, orange, slight grapefruit, a little pine and floral hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, some pine, a little peach, slight toasted malts and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A lingering, dryish, slightly piney, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A little on the malty side at first and a fruity, piney end. Subtle alcohol detected and a bitter finish. Solid but there are better.
Garrold (10624) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2016Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Just a month date left on this. Hazy, dark ginger colour. Thin, dense, lasting, cream coloured head. A bit leggy. Looks good. Nose has sweet, fusty, candied orange hop. Thick, pungent, honey malts. Some spice, and floral herb. It’s not fresh, but it does smell pretty good. Taste is rich, spicy and sweet, turning big, oily, chewy bitter. Full bodied and smooth. Long, hugely bitter, spicy finish. Really enjoyed this one.
