nickd717 (10342) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 24, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2021 Can from Garage Project pours slightly hazy amber with a lacy off-white head. Aroma is tangerine, honey, mango, grapefruit, resin. Medium sweet flavor, caramel malt and big citrusy tropical resinous hops, fairly bitter. Medium-full body, average carbonation. Pretty solid.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 Golden clear body with fluffy white head. Amazingly resinous and nobly bitter. Strong hops, mandarin and honey. Bold, but very drinkable.

Maris (3437) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAR 12, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2021 From a 440ml can on 12/3/2021 (ABV listed as 9%). Pours a clear deep golden with a smallish head. The nose is herbal with lots of pine and resin. Flavour wise, there's a decent caramel malt backbone, with some big orange, apricot and stewed fruit sweetness, finishing with a pretty firm, lingering pine and resin bitterness which coats the mouth, lingers long and displays more than a hint of warming booze. The mouthfeel is oily, the carbonation moderate. It's certainly solid enough, but doesn't have as much character or definition as I was expecting. Certainly a touch disappointing for a GP.

Samma (1000) - Fitzroy, AUSTRALIA - FEB 28, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2021 Can. Deep amber. A lot of resin and candied fruit on nose. Malty, potent, luscious, wonderfully resinous. A real treat.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2019 Pours from the bottle a dark hazy amber with a thick, foamy white head. Plenty of lacing. What a nose. Burnt marmalade, stewed apricots and pine resin that goes on and on. Rich caramel malt, big resinous pine, subdued mango. What’s not to love here. As others have noted the alcohol is well hidden. Would be dangerous to have this on tap at the local. Smashing beer.

Hop_Hedonist (1081) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 29, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2018 Bottle - sweet sweet sweet malt dominant with a decent whack of herbal/stone fruit hops - as usual GP hides the alcohol well - I find the mouthfeel a bit rough which isn’t like GP DIPAs I enjoyed previously and detracts from my enjoyment. Alas I find it’s hard to drink.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2018 On tap at Brewski. Pours near clear orange with 1cm white head, aroma of fruity hops & caramel malt. Full range of hop character: Citrus, apricot, dank resin, earthy pine. Hints of malt sweetness are pounding down by zesty hop bitterness. I’m a fan

On tap at Cafe Sara, february 24th 2017.Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma of passion fruit, peach, tangerine. Taste is light herbal and spicy with a solid tropical punch, light bitterness, long juicy finish. Nice.

Hazy orange pour with a lovely white had atop. This is gloriously aromatic and tastes every bit as you hope it would with piny resinous bitterness over a lovely malt that provides a full mouthfeel that I thought led with orange and citrus, and sensational flavour bursts. Finish is nice too and not at all dry.

mlc56 (4) - - JUL 29, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Pours well - good head, excellent aroma and taste. Probably a little too drinkable for a 9.5 and can easily get one into trouble. Oddly the resinous after taste seems to build becoming very noticeable after a while by which stage one has probably consumed more than the sensible amount.
