CloakedDagger (9914) - - DEC 18, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2018 Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Sweet, caramellish nose with a light but hard to define spicy edge. Medium body, again caramel sweetness, but then an astringency creeps up on you that must be the juniper. Sort of a spicy Amber Ale. Not so interesting. 181218

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a thick frothy off-white head. Aroma of malts, spices, juniper, dried fruits. Taste of dried fruits, juniper, sweet malts, caramel, toffee, herbal hops, light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Interesting saison, not what I was expecting but I liked it.
