Pour black with mocha head.
Aroma of roasted dark malts, faint hints of hops, some lingering chocolate and coffee.
Flavor, malty, grainy, some hints of lactic sweetness, toasted notes with some coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, warming abv with some hops and chocolate bitterness.

Aug 28, 2009 Pours black. Nose is roasted malt, black malts, earthy hops, coffee, cocoa, mild anise. Flavor is rich malt, burnt coffee, mild dark chocolate, booze and sweet sugar. Real nice Imperial stout.

Aug 3, 2009 Tap. Best beer so far from tampa bay brewing. Pours black with a tan head, some nice lace on the glass. Aroma is chocolate and coffee- great . Roasted malts, sweet malts. Very well balanced. Really diggin this beer. Sticky creamy smooth mouthfeel. Some nice hop bitterness. As well. This beer was pretty tight

Jul 15, 2009 On tap at TBBC. Lack pour, dense light brown head. Roasty coffee nose. Flavor is coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and a hint of alcohol in the finish. A very good batch.

Apr 4, 2009 A very tasty and strong stout on draft at the brewery. Nice chocolately overtones and a touch of coffee. Pours pitch black.

Présence d’un mince col beige mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de café et de chocolat avec une pointe de mélange de noix et fruits. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Mar 17, 2009 Sample at brewpub. Pours a nice deep dark ambery brown not quite black- great lasting head. Aroma is sharp roasted malts lots of roasted nuts, and a good chocolate donut aroma. flavor is a bit syrupy sweet at first but dries out and becomes a nutty dried light burnt toast and chocolate character- with a roasted finish- pretty smooth overall. Nice.
