Aroma/taste: barley, bread, raspberry, berries, light caramel, light jam, straw, light oak and light barn notes. Palette: strong berry aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, balanced by a light to medium bitterness/acidity, average duration, light tart finish and a watery texture. Overall: Nice easily drinkable berry lambic

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2024 Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy raspberry red pour with a slim ivory ring. Giant jammy red raspberry flavor. Sweet but not syrupy. Feeling the drying tannins from the fruit skins. Additional notes of blackberries, cherries, and mulberries. Very good though not subtle.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2023 Bestes Kriek! Das Boon Framboise habe ich bei der Belgian Beer Factory gekauft. Es kommt in der grünen Vichy Flasche daher, um den Bezug zu Sekt herzustellen. Der Geruch nach frischen Himbeeren und der Säure von Sekt ist von der Brauerei mal wieder perfekt getroffen! Die Farbe ist klares, dunkles Kupfer mit einer feinporigen, dünnen, aber sehr beständigen hellrosanen Schaumkrone. Beim Antrunk aus einem Sektglas ist die Säure und der Geschmack von Sekt perfekt getroffen. Beim Abgang kommt dann die Himbeere stärker durch - super! Obwohl ich kein Sekt Trinker bin, bin ich von der Umsetzung so begeistert, dass ich die maximale Punktzahl gebe.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2023 Draft pour at the The Belgian Brewers' Bash in Washington DC. Poured a nice, semi-cloudy raspberry red color with a small pink head. Aroma was really big fresh raspberries. Really tasty. Nice and refreshing. This was very easy to drink.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2022 Strong red colour with basically no head. Aroma is very fruity of raspberry and citrus. Taste is sweet with sour ending.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2022 bottiglia 375 cl, raccolto 2021, schiuma rosa media grana media persistenza, colore rosso torbido, al naso intenso lamponi note vinose legnose, in bocca su tutto lamponi (mio frutto preferito) yogurt al lampone ciliege citrica legno, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, acida e astringete ma non invadente, dolce con amaro percettibile, secca asciutta nel finale. Una Lambic equilibrata e facilissima da bere. Spettacolo come le sue sorelle. c. Cantina della birra 22.10.22

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2022 Kicsi, gyorsan elillanó hab, vörös szín. Illata szenzációs, tömény málna, leheletnyi savanykával. Íze málnás, savanykás, melegedéssel előjön némi édesség és visszahúzódik a savanyú. Könnyed, enyhén szénsavas, csak leheletnyit keserű. Finom, frissítő ital, de nekem nem elég testes.
