UPDATED: DEC 20, 2022 On tap at Søgaards. A mostly clear, it seems, dark brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma has some roasted malts, but dark dried fruit dominates. Some caramel and burnt malts. It's full to medium bodied, softly carbonated and a mostly on the dry side. Quite a lot of residual sweetness though. Caramel and roasted malts in the flavor, but mostly it's raisin and dried figs. A bit more burnt in the finish. 221220

Tap @ Søgaards Bryghus. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, moderate bitter and light sour. Dry, moderate bitter and light sour finish. A shame with the sour note in what was otherwise a promising porter. 110317
