UPDATED: DEC 12, 2023 Piwo koloru bursztynu, zamglone. Piana biała, wysoka, puszysta, zbudowana głównie z drobnych oczek. Stopniowo redukuje się do centymetrowej warstwy. Pozostawiaj szczątkowy lacing. W aromacie na pierwszym planie słodki banan z delikatną siarkową nutą, w dalszej kolejności guma balonowa, mokre zboże oraz niewyraźny przyprawowo-korzenny akcent w tle. W smaku po pierwszym wrażeniu pojawia się dojrzały banan, który z każdym kolejnym łykiem ustępuje goździkom oraz zbożowym nutom. Wyczuwalne w mniejszym stopniu również białe pieczywo i przyprawy korzenne. Wysycenie bardzo wysokie. Całość półwytrawna, z krótką goryczką na finiszu. Dobry, klasyczny Hefeweizen jak na bawarską markę przystało.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2023 Das Meisels Weisse Original habe ich im EDEKA in Lauda in der NRW Flasche gekauft. Es kommt bernsteinfarben trüb mit perfekter Krone ins Glas und hat einen fruchtigen, zurückhaltend hefigen und getreidigen Geruch. Beim Antrunk Banane, Pfirsich, kaum wahrnehmbare Nelke, kaum Säure. Der Körper ist vollmundig und für ein Hefe sehr rezent bei toller Carbonität. Diese Kombination ist wirklich super - es wundert mich, dass nicht mehr Röstaromen bei der relativ dunklen Färbung zu erkennen sind. Zu recht eines der höchstbewerteten und best verkauften Hefeweizen.
