Tall tan head with fine bubbles, medium carbonation that fell quickly. Aroma of chocolate and toasted malts with a bit of caramel. Tastes of chocolate, roast, some sweetness like toffee; low to no hops; balanced toward sweetness. Very drinkable, could have another. BMan1113VR (2958), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 29, 2009 Bottle thanks to my Polish friend. Pours with a deep brown near black body and a khaki head. Aroma of dark, fruity esters, red licorice, chocolate, dusty/dirty, and light earthy spices. Taste is leather, earth, smoke, chocolate, anise and charcoal. Light, refined bubbles. Quite good. Not too smokey. As it warms it becomes slightly lactic and metallic, although not unpleasantly so. satan165 (616), River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2009 aroma is light candy tang and subtle soft cocoa features. body is handsome opaque with fleeting head and low carb. flavor is chocolate sweetness backed by alcohol whip. palate is decidedly oily. pretty well put together considering its cost and ease of availability, ive had worse cheap baltics. hawthorne00 (159), Australia
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Pretty much black, tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma with coffee, vanilla. Sweet and roasty with a quite metallic tang. Low carbonation is just about enough to stop it being syrupy. Finish is medicinal and metallic. I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as Zywiec Porter, but this was really disappointing. Toxygen (402), Sanford, Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2009 A nice low budget baltic porter from BOTW. Reddish brown with soapy looking head. Nose was a little subdued, but noticed coffee, prunes, and spiciness. Palate is nice, a bit creamy, bubbly, thick malty feel, that is a bit nutty and chocolaty. Not the best of this style I have had but certainly a nice beer. Papsoe (15113), Frederiksberg, Denmark
