En boca entra mostrando cierto dulzor malteado y amargor de lúpulo. Amargor agradable que perdura de principio a fin del trago y domina también el posgusto. Fresca, sabrosa y muy disfrutable. UPDATED: APR 27, 2023 Auch dieses Bier leiß ich einige Kollegen probieren, und den meisten schmeckte es auch, obwohl keiner wirklich etwas mit den netten hefig-kräuterigen Aromen anfangen konnte. Es ist durchaus süffig und hat ein schönes Aromenbukett nach weihnachtlichen Gewürzen. Das einzige was man verbessern könnte, ist dass es intensiver sein könnte und hinten schon fast langweilig wird. Dennoch ein brauchbares klassisches Belgisches.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2023 Clear dark golden color with medium white head. Aroma has malt, sweet fruity notes, yeast and some grass. Taste is malty sweet with long somewhat bitter aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, grass, yeast and nice hoppy elements.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2023 Small 250ml bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a mostly clear golden amber with moderate sized white head, good lacing. Decent freshness in the aroma with sweet malts and a floral, hay and fruity peel hop. The body and mouthfeel is what elevates this beer being mid to full bodied with a soft near frothy carbonation. Its quite a herbal tasting beer, with mixed fruit peel and a long bitter dose in the finish with a reasonable sweet malt backing. There is so much good with this beer in terms of appearance, mouthfeel and balance that I want to give it a 4+ but taste wise its more of a 7/10 for me.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2022 Pullo @ Alko. Kaatuu tulppaaniin kullankeltaisena ja hieman sameana, todella runsaalla vaahdolla. Tuoksu on hyvin sitruksisen ja kukkaisen humaloitu, belgihiivan mausteisuuttakin löytyy reilusti, hieman sitruksen kuortakin on. Maussa on hyvin paljon kukkaisuutta, mausteita ja sitrustakin. Tiettyä olkisuuttakin löytyy. Suutuntuma on melko hiilihappoinen ja humaloinnin katkerotkin kutittelevat kielellä. Hieno belgiale, suht raikas ja monimuotoinen, vahva humalointi pelaa yhteen maltaisuuden ja belgihiivan kanssa.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2022 0.33 l bottle from Alko Ympyrätalo, Helsinki. Deep golden, clearish, huge thick head. Strong and all that like in tripel but this time the dry ending comes from hops. Nicely balanced as expected from Belgians.
