COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Marie-Ange (1907 - 1996) is our maternal great-grandmother, fondly remembered as Mémé. Born in Quebec, she emigrated to the Northeast Kingdom with her husband Edward J. Fournier. In her honor, we brew a beautifully soft, Unfiltered and naturally carbonated German-style Helles. Lightly hazy, naturally carbonated and truly enjoyable, this is the beer we dream to have shared with Marie.

Really malty and yeasty aroma and the taste starts that way. It then gets pretty nutty and ends with some bread and yeast. Pretty complex with lots of flavor change. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2022 For review #3500 (!) - yes I've been at this for a while - how about something from RB's #1 brewery in the world for most of the last decade? It is a helles. Fairly light, and mostly dry, this has a touch of lightly fruity pilsener flavor, but finishes dry. Toasted white bread and a dash of bitterness. Gold pour with lacing on the glass. It figures that HF would do an excellent version of this.

midovark (6314) - Alkmaar, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2022
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2022 Tap at The Grand Delancey. A pretty tasty helles, albeit the carbonation could’ve been more prickly, it’s got a fairly intense spicyness, and there was an interesting stickyness on the palate.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2022 Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Lovely pale biscuits, straw, a nip of dough. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation iron. Sweet finish, fresh pale grains, low bitterness, hay, straw, biscuits. Excellent.
