UPDATED: SEP 1, 2023 Mit edlem Etikett in gold/schwarz/blau auf der braunen 0,5l Flasche, so steht das Arcobräu Schloss Dunkel vor mir. Dunkelbraun-rötlich fließt es ins Glas und baut eine ordentliche Schaumkrone auf. Es riecht süßlich malzig. Der erste Schluck schmeckt mild malzig wird zur Mitte hin dezent süßlich und endet im schwach ausgeprägten hopfigen Abgang. Ein süffiges dunkles Bierchen das nach mehr schmeckt. 7 Kronkorken.

Light bitter kick in the finish along with chocolate, roasted malts and caramel malts

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2021 Schöne, dunkle Farbe. Geruch süßlich, frisch, etwas Traubensaft. Und damit weiß man auch, was einem geschmacklich erwartet. Hier kommt aber auch das Malz und eine säuerliche Nuance stärker raus. Ganz leichte Röstnoten und minimale Spuren von Kaffee. Recht schmackhaft. Einen Hauch zu viel Kohlensäure. Trotzdem eher auf der süffigen, als auf der schweren Seite.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2020 Bottle 0.5 l. Dark bronze to chestnut color, good creamy head. Aroma: grain, light and dark malts, caramel, a hint of hops. Sweetish taste, caramel malt, slightly dried fruit, slightly bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2020 Look: deep brown with a moderate off-white head of low retention. Aroma and taste: toast, brown bread, light roastiness, dried fruit, a hint of hop. Very clean, light sweet. Low bitterness. Palate: light to medium body, lively carbonation. Overall: a quality Dunkel.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2019 0,5 l bottle. Clear dark brown with reddish edges. One finger pale beige head. Low sweet malty smell, little but fruity. Taste starts with toasted malt, some fruity sweetness in the background. Low bitterness in the second part. Nothin´ special but still okay.
