On tap at Highlands Hollow Boise. pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. A nice aroma of roast malt and chocolate. Tast was very good a nice roast and sweetness mix. A pretty good porter. i would have to say this is about the best brew from here I have had.

On Tap: Deep brown with a smaller tan head and just a little lacing. Nose is roasted malt and coffee, the taste of the coffee is more prominent with roasted malt and a bit of cocoa notes. Just a hint of bittersweetness. Medium body and overall a nice porter.

A very nice pour that is dark with just a hint of brownish amber shining through, a very good example of a brown porter. nose is slightly fruity, with an immediately noticeable roasted chocolate that mingles nicely with the coffee esque acidity of the flavor. Enjoyable and unexpected.

On Tap This brew looksDark black and thick with a light brown head and runny lacing. The aromas are classic for its style -- roasted scents mixed with chocolate. The tastes are equally wonderful somewhat like a smokey cappucino.

Draught: Clean black, light ruby, nice head and light lacing. Nose of sweet mild roast, some salty berry and white cocoa. The flavor is fairly straightforward with sweet roast. Light astringency and a bit of nice contrasting bitterness. Finishes full bodied, relatively neutral but a nice snappy body, mellow roast and a good profile.
