Ale Punched with Sake Yeast and Rice This Raging Bull’uva Double-ish IPA is punched with Sake Yeast and Rice, then hopped-up for a cold-clip of counter-balanced bitterness... it just don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing!

7/27/18 - Fairburn, Ga - Georgia World of Beverage - 32 oz quart bottle. Slight fruity aroma, hint of spruce. Some light citrus, hint of white grape, some pear fruitiness, little bit of the sake taste is noted, but wouldn't detect without knowing it was in there. Smooth mouthfeel, thick enough.

Shag (3602) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUL 22, 2018
A golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some grassy notes, corn, and lemons. Very similar to a pilsner. The flavor is slightly bitter and dry with some boozy notes showing through. I'm getting a little bit of the sake aspect of it basically because I'm looking for it otherwise I would just call this a straight up Imperial Pils. Overall this is a really nice hot weather beer. I wont call it a "lawnmower beer" because at 9% in a 32oz bottle you might get a DUI on your mower.

Lacho (171) - USA - APR 17, 2018
UPDATED: APR 17, 2018 Pours a beautiful golden color with a frothy white foam that diminishes to a small thin remnant. Very faint aromas of yeast and white rice. Fresh in the mouth and easy to drink, malt and sake are easily perceived and sushi comes to mind. This is s great beer to pair with salmon.

Very interesting aroma, you can tell it contains sake. Basic color with giant white tuft of foam. Tastes sweeter than expected with an average yet long lasting hop bite at the end. I have to give it to Lagunitas; I have never tasted a beer like this before. Good dense palate. I recommend this, it's worth a try.

Pours a brilliant golden color with a foamy white head. 9% ABV is well hidden. Beer is off dry and moderately carbonated. Notes of honey, biscuits, and has a clean hop profile. Nice.

Lemon, butter, I got a mild hint of the sake but its not over-the-top novelty levels, solid IPA with dangerously hidden alco

A fairly uninspiring appearance, clear pale gold with a webbed head. Nose is lemon, yeast, grass, nilla wafer... Not bad! Crisp feel and nice effervescence. Sweeter than expected, lemon cookie, flashes of the rice appear with warmth, more so in the finish.

Sample @ ABR 2017. Brilliantly clear golden pour with a tiny head. Engaging aroma - general herbal accents. Mountain meadow. White fruit jellies. Nicely balanced flavor. Soft fruit. Some gentle botanicals. Light doughiness. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation.
