Goodgrief (2860) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - NOV 26, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2022 Bottle. Dark pour, huge frothy head. Wine aroma. A wild amount of wine flavor in this. More wine than beer. Stout characteristics are barely discernable. Meh.

mcberko (42066) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2022 2016 vintage. 500mL bottle, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma is all brett, with vinous notes, intense funk, and some roast. Flavour is over the too brett, to the point of being rather unpleasant — very funky, somewhat farty, with lots of roast, and almost no vinous character left. The brett has dominated this and rather destroyed this. Alright.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2021 Bottle shared at the Beau in London tasting, last group tasting for 7 months - who knew, thanks to Tipple 11/03/20. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is tangy dark fruit esters, roasted malts, spice, charr, light brett notes. Taste comprises tarte fruits, chocolate, fruit cake, mellow bretted notes, funk, light roast, ashen tones, red berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent but not blow me away by any means.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2020 Bottle shared at the Beau London tasting 11/03/2020. Many thanks to Adrian Tipple. A dark jet black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is brett, salty roast, pineapple, ash, hint of grape. Flavour is composed of bretty, semi sweet, roast, bretty, roast, vanilla, bretty funk. Palate is semi sweet, bretty, tangy roast, frothy airy carbonation. Interesting bretty stout.

davidezdonz (1917) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - SEP 24, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2019 A 500ml bottle, 2016 vintage. Poured into a snifter glass. It was dark dark brown to black in colour with a big two finger tanned head that had pretty good retention and eventually settled to a thin layer, while leaving some nice lacing. Aromas of light roast, cocoa, leather, brett, oak, lightly vinous and a touch herbal. Tastes like what you’d expect from the aroma, light roast, cocoa, funky, brett, tart, vinous, and oak. Creamy, medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, nice aroma and flavours although the Imperial Stout parts are probably overpowered by the brett and vinous aspects. This is really drinkable but I’m unsure I’d still call this an Imperial Stout.

marcus (12950) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 17, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2019 Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours near black with a thick light brown head and a fruity malt aroma. There is a full-bodied roasted malt flavor with some dark chocolate and a bitter slightly tart finish.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2019 Already an imperial stout, why not throw in some barrel ageing. When you’ve cooked a nice spaghetti bolognese for dinner, why not cook a curry for dinner too. A mashup of two great beer styles, as seemless as catdog.

Piterolla (66) - POLAND - DEC 30, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2018 W aromacie bardzo duża dzikość. Cierpkie, trochę przypraw. Lekko kwasowosci. Nuty kawowe. Rzadka konsystencja. Dość ciekawe piwo, ale cierpkosc lekko przytłaczająca, która zostaje też w posmaku.
